“Now that I know what I want to do, I am ready to go all out.”
Edmonds CC: It is close to home so I thought I would try it. I am very pleased and, at this point, I plan to stay.
Why now? Now that I know what I want to do, I am ready to go all out and really apply myself.
Before Edmonds CC: I did construction for about seven years with my dad in the family business.
Best college experience: I love my teachers. I enjoy the materials and the curriculum is well directed right at what I want to do, so I don't feel like I am wasting time.
Scholarship: received an Edmonds CC Community Read scholarship from the Edmonds Community College Foundation
Favorite class: Audio Engineering, MUSC 190, because it is hands on, so I get to work with the things that I will hopefully be working with the rest of my life. I am looking forward to my Fashion Design, FASHD 104, project as well!
Best advice for students: Don't over-burden yourself. Do what you are interested in, and enjoy your classes. If you spread yourself too thin, you will not be able to reach your full potential.
Book: The Great Divorce by C.S. Lewis
Traveled to: Mexico a four times on Christian mission trips
College goal: get ready to take the next step in pursuing my dreams
Dream job: in music and fashion, modeling and acting — engaging in different forms of artistic expression in a way that glorifies God.
