Why Edmonds CC? It has a reputation within my family for its focus on student success and having excellent instructors.

Why now? There is no better time to complete or start your education — just go.

Biggest challenge: Commuting to school on the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. The trade-off though is invaluable to have classroom learning and honestly, some of the most supportive and quality educators I have ever had.

Best college experience: Taking classes from instructors whose experience and knowledge is evident. School can easily be boring, but that hasn't been the case at Edmonds.

Best advice for students: Do your homework!

Foundation scholarship: Receiving the Edmonds CC Community Read Scholarship gives me the opportunity to pursue educational interests and professional ambitions so that I, in return, can give back to the community.

What’s next: University of Washington and the Foster School of Business

College goal: Law school.

Dream job: Using my personal talents to make a difference in my community.
