Why Edmonds CC? It was conveniently nearby, and I'd heard good things about the college.

Why now? I know how important an education is. Every moment is the right time of your life to learn.

Before Edmonds CC: After high school, I took a year off to work.

Working at: Starbucks

Biggest challenge: Deciding on a major.

Scholarship: received at Edmonds CC Community Read scholarship from the Edmonds Community College Foundation

Best college experience: Discovering that I'm not so bad at math. I never would have thought that I would come this far in mathematics if you had asked me in high school!

Favorite class: painting, ART 150 — It's a relaxed environment, and an interesting subject. I get to listen to music, create, and feel inspired by others.

On her iPod: Red Hot Chili Peppers

Interests: Art, writing, and outdoor activities. When the weather's nice, ultimate Frisbee.

Dream job: I'd like to use my creativity, and work with brilliant and creative people. I want to solve problems, and make changes. I feel most passionate about the pursuit of knowledge.
