“My passion is design and using my design skills to help people.”

Why Edmonds CC? It is very close to where I live. In addition to that, I liked the classes that were offered in the CIS (Computer Information Systems) and VISCO (Visual Communications) departments better than anywhere else.

Why now? I was able to attend classes full-time, and I always wanted to learn about designing Web sites and web applications.

Before Edmonds CC I worked as an industrial designer designing products for the pro audio, aviation, and automotive industries. I have a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Industrial Design from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.

Favorite class Introduction to Internet Design (Visual Communications 115) with instructor Steve Sosa. This class was my first step toward learning Web design and building Web sites. Steve taught the class in a way that made it both challenging and fun at the same time.

Interests writing, recording, and performing music. Also, I like to create 2D and 3D graphic designs and illustrations.

College goal a master’s degree and to teach design and illustration at a college or university

Dream job to design and develop products that solve problems for people in their everyday lives. I want to design the physical products as well as the software interfaces that make the devices useful.
