Why Edmonds CC? At first, to do Running Start. Then, I chose to continue at Edmonds CC because I had such a good experience.
Why now? I want to get a degree and start working as soon as possible. I plan to earn credits that will transfer to an art school.
Best college resource the Learning Support Center. While taking English 105 my first quarter, I used the center to get help on my essays. Being able to get feedback on the work I had done, before I had to turn the essay in, made me feel more confident about turning in a well-written essay.
Working as photographer in the College Relations department
Best college experience taking photos for the Profiles project and having my artwork on exhibit in the College Café
Favorite classes Photography 101, 102, and 103. I am now a teacher’s assistant for PHOTO 101 and 102.
Advice for new students Get to know your teachers, especially the teachers who teach in an area that you are interested in. My photography teacher has been able to help me with a lot of good opportunities that I would not have gotten if I had not done Running Start at Edmonds CC.

Dream job to work in New York as a fashion photographer. I can easily see myself working in photography and truly enjoying the work.
