“In order to get further in life, I needed college.”--Miranda RobertsonWhy Edmonds CC? I liked the feel of the campus. It has a good environment. Why now? My family supported me in my decision to go to college. I knew I needed college to get where I wanted to be in life. Best college experience Faculty are available they help challenge you. Favorite class Exploring Natural History in Word and Field, a coordinated studies class that combined Biology and English taught by Hans Landel(Biology) and Holly Hughes(English). It made me decide to study science. What’s next? an internship in photonics (the study of light) this summer at the University of Washington sponsored by the National Science Foundation, I’ll find out if I like doing lab research enough to pursue it as a career. College goal a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry at the University of Washington or Washington State University. I’d like to go on for my Ph.D. |

I've been in Our Town, Two Rooms, The Imaginary Invalid, Much Ado About Nothing, The Cherry Orchard, A Midsummer Night’s Dream,The Laramie Project, Tom Sawyer and Cabaret. I'm also a member of the college improv team. Favorite class Advanced acting. It helped me open up and become more outgoing.
